Service Description

The Space Race was a competition between the Soviet Union and the United States to be the first to explore outer space with artificial satellites, to send humans into space, and to land them on the Moon. In this course you will learn about the development of modern rocketry, German influence with the V-2 rocket, space exploration competition between the two countries, the Mercury program, Gemini (bridge between Mercury & Apollo) and Apollo which landed the first humans on the Moon. Hands-on activities include games, puzzles, building & launching a rocket and more.
