APOLLO to ARTEMIS

Service Description

More than 50 years ago, NASA sent the first humans to the Moon under the Apollo program. Now, NASA is preparing to send the first woman and first person of color to the lunar surface as part of the Artemis program. Follow along as the Apollo and Artemis programs are compared and how Artemis will get humans to the Moon permanently. Hands-on activities include building a rocket and determining weight constraints, design and build a crew vehicle that will occupy 2 “astronauts”, landing the crew vehicle safely, planning and building a Moon base and more.
